For those who prefer a through bolt design to their concrete Super Elite pontoons this also is accommodated, however there is the upgrade offered of self tensioning fibre composite bolts in lieu of standard galvanized bolts. These benefits are significant while still allowing customers to add on to existing marinas with the same look and feel.

The main benefit to Super Elite is that extensions and modifications are easy to complete where many older marinas have a through bolt system. The system performs the same as our other heavy-duty pontoons with long-lasting and robust capabilities, however there can be more maintenance due to the through bolts if there is no self tensioning system fitted.

In heavy-duty applications such as Super Yacht marinas and wave attenuators the actual mass of the marina contributes to stability and rigidity where a beam instead of a hinged flex result is required by the designer. In this case a Super Elite would be specified. The traditional through bolt system is used widely throughout the world in these heavy-duty applications and post tensioning can also be incorporated for wave attenuators.
