Superior Jetties earns Premiers award for best Regional Export Performance

Monday November 2, Gold Coast Australia. Superior Jetties, a leading manufacturer of residential and commercial berthing systems, has received a significant accolade with the announcement of their win as the Regional Exporter in the Premier of Queensland’s 2009 Export Awards. Managing Director of Superior Jetties, John Hogan, was on hand at the awards ceremony to receive the coveted award and confirmed the support of Trade Queensland as instrumental in securing international opportunities.

In another major coup, Superior Jetties new Superior Fender was accepted as a finalist in the prestigious DAME Awards to be held at the METS Trade Show in Amsterdam in November. Superior Fender is a unique new fender product that will be export friendly and will open opportunities in other industries where a heavy duty fender is required.

‘We maintain a close liaison with Trade Queensland’s local team, and its international officers and we’re always on the lookout for new export opportunities,” Mr Hogan said. “We are very proud to have achieved significant exports of high quality Australian products and will continue to grow
Superior Jetties with exports as a key component of our operations. The recognition for the Superior Fender at the DAME Awards will further enhance our export market opportunities,” Mr Hogan went on to say.

Superior Jetties develops, designs, manufactures and installs a variety of marine berthing systems and products including pontoons, jetties, boatlifts and water based boardwalks, to build marine projects around the world. In 2008-09 alone, the company completed the Port Klang Marina in Malaysia, worked with a local partner to build the new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre superyacht marina in just 90 days, and won the tender, again with a local partner, to build the new Han River Marina in Korea.
