Rosser Park Boardwalk

Rosser Park, Gold Coast, Australia.
Client: Gold Coast City Council
Sub Consultants Used: Smart Stone Group
Project Description
This project consisted of the construction of 500 metres of curved boardwalks piled over lakes in the Gold Coast City Council Botanic Gardens.
This included associated pathways and bridge crossings extending the length of the lake, plus landscaping to provide outlooks and rest areas.
Our expertise extends beyond marine based berthing and commercial applications, as is outlined with this project. The timber work, design and finish as an exceptional addition to this pristine public environment, and another example of the ability we possess to deliver very high quality solutions.
Our Involvement
Our team prepared detailed drawings and piling set-outs, with barge establishment in the park whilst open for visitors.
The construction zone was maintained amongst the general public and opened by the Mayor on time and budget.
Of special note is the preparation undertaken with all timber pre-inspected by 3rd party accreditation and every board symmetrically sawn to achieve high quality finish.
This project is an excellent example of our expertise in dealing with intricate timber based boardwalk systems, particularly focussed on high general public traffic flow areas.
